Former Ireland player thinks Rice is 'overrated'
Former Ireland player and Wrexham star James McClean thinks Declan Rice is overrated.
Ahead of the Germany vs Hungary clash on Wednesday afternoon the winger revealed his thoughts on the Arsenal midfielder.
He told RTE Sport: "I think Declan Rice is very OVERRATED. Don’t get me wrong I think he’s a very good footballer but the way the English media wax lyrical about him, I think it’s completely over the top.
"For me he’s not world-class. I don’t think he gets in the Man City side ahead of Rodri, I don’t think he gets in, I know Kroos is retired but to me Toni Kroos is world-class, he dictates the game, Rodri dictates the game."

Bukayo Saka advice
Rio Ferdinand reckons England manager Gareth Southgate should deploy Arsenal star Bukayo Saka at left-back against Denmark.
The Three Lions will take on the Danes at 5pm TODAY in Frankfurt.
If [Luke] Shaw’s not fit then 100 per cent, we’re bang in trouble.
We would have to put Saka at left-back. I’d play Saka at left-back then I would.
If you ain’t got Shaw and you ain’t got [Kieran] Trippier then I would play Saka at left-back.
I’d play it where as soon as we get possession Saka is a left winger.

Toney and Rice friendship
Brentford star Ivan Toney would have an instant best friend in the Arsenal dressing room should he move to the Emirates this summer.
That is because he is so close to Declan Rice that the midfielder would pick Toney ahead of all England team-mates if he had to choose one to spend a year with on a desert island.
Rice was asked that exact question while sitting alongside the long-term Arsenal target on FA show Lions’ Den out in Germany.
The ex-West Ham star said: “It’s an easy answer, the man next to me.
“We’re on the same wavelength, we have the same interests, the same music. We like the same hobbies. We just get on really well, so definitely Ivan.”
Toney, who is expected to leave the Bees this summer, added: “I don’t think we would be worried about being stuck, we would just catch [have] jokes.”

Zinchenko criticised over Ukraine performance

He said: "It would be better for all of us to turn off the lights than to watch such a game.

“It’s when the goals are flying in, the goalkeeper doesn’t help and Zinchenko is reading the newspaper on the wing, not playing, then we lose 3-0.”
