Job Title: Donations Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Donations Operation Manager

Objective

To support and help execute daily donations warehouse operations while providing excellent customer service and keeping focus on The Church of Eleven22\u00AE and Hope's Closet\u00AE vision of being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.\u202F\u202F\u00A0

Key Responsibilities

• Minister of the gospel\u202F\u00A0
• Drive sales by executing daily warehouse operations and providing excellent customer service to our donors and customers
• Maintain organization in\u202Fdonations\u202Foperation\u2013\u202Fpre-sorting area, donation door, warehouse and stockroom
• Help support Donations Operation Manager\u202Fin donation receiving, sorting, processing and replenishment processes, packing and storage clothes in the warehouse, load and unload trucks using forklift, if necessary, between Hope\u2019s Closet locations\u00A0
• Maintain donation standards and assist in accomplishing donation goals.\u00A0
• Assist in\u202Fcoordination\u202Fand management\u202Fof Hope's Closet serve staff\u202Fin\u202Fdonation\u202Foperations and serving opportunities\u00A0

Education and Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience, including retail, stock handling or warehouse experience\u00A0
• High school diploma preferred
• Forklift certification preferred\u00A0
• Must have excellent driving record, as verified through the state Motor Vehicle Department\u00A0

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time, non-exempt position which reports to the Donations Operation Manager. Days may vary by week due to the needs of the store and events. Weekend and holiday hours are a must.\u00A0

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional retail environment\u202Fwhich includes both sales floor and warehouse/stockrooms. This position works mostly in the warehouse department which uses equipment like forklifts, hand carts, dollies, ladders, rolling carts, rolling racks and pallet jacks.\u00A0

Physical demands

Must be able to stand or walk on concrete flooring for prolonged time periods, bend, lift, grasp, reach, push and pull materials, walk on uneven surfaces,\u202Fladders\u202Fand stairs, lift up\u202Fto 50 lbs. and work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.\u00A0
